Pastoral Support (for families and children)

At Bellfield Primary School we are very proud of the pastoral support we offer both families and their children. All staff at Bellfield are proactive in supporting all our families and get to know them very well. However, we understand that, sometimes, families need more support as there could be difficulties at home or your child is experiencing difficulties at school. 

We are very fortunate to have a  dedicated and experienced Pastoral Team, who are able to help you. They support children where there are behaviour difficulties, mental health issues, worries and any other type of support they may need - e.g. bereavement or separation. 

They are also here to support families - they are a listening ear for parents/ carers with issues with their children at home, family issues, housing, finances etc. Our team will signpost, offer support and guidance and bring in other agencies to support children and their families.

If you have any concerns at all please either come to find them or contact them through the following ways;

• A member of the pastoral team is available on the playground at the beginning and the end of the school day
